SA: Pedestrian in critical condition after hit-run accident
ADELAIDE, Dec 1 AAP - A 33-year-old pedestrian was in a critical condition after beingthe victim of a hit and run accident early today, South Australian police said.
The man was struck by a car about 4am CDT today while crossing West Terrace in thecity, a police spokeswoman said.
The man, from Thebarton in Adelaide's inner west, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospitalwith various injuries and was in a critical condition, the spokeswoman said.
The car involved in the accident did not stop, prompting an appeal to any witnessesof the incident to contact police.
