SA; Minister calls for water cap to stay

South Australian Environment Minister DOROTHY KOTZ says the Murray River will be sucked dry
if the cap limiting the amount of water taken out by New South Wales farmers is scrapped.

Mrs KOTZ has told the second Australian Stream Management conference she's alarmed at
the NSW National Party's policy, which also includes a push for more dams to be built.
